Summers End

The summer days are fading quickly for me.  Seems like summer just arrived, I only looked away for a moment and now it's almost over.  

It was a hot and sticky summer here.  The gardens thrived despite the heat.  The flowers bloomed in full force, beating out the weeds. The grass I'm happy to say is green.  Let me tell you, I think I've the only house in the neighborhood with green grass.  

So, as I prepare for the summer days to come to an end and my most favorite time of year to arrive, I'm planning one last summer garden party.
