Welcome a New Year

Hello everyone!

A new year is upon us and the first few days of this brand new year have gone very smoothly here.

With the hustle and bustle of the past few weeks, I'm glad to be back to more ordinary, normal days.

New Years eve day the mister and me were out and about town, we went to our local antique malls.......I came home with a bevy of treasures.  I'll share more of this next week.

New Years day I spent a few hours organizing a large closet that is full of all things needed for my bear and beastie making.  A daunting job, but one I do every new years day.  I surprised myself this time.....normally I end the job with 3 large hefty bags for the trash man.......this time....only one.

Now that the holidays are past I can share photos of what was keeping me busy in December.  This first grouping was so much fun.........I could have kept it all.  I clustered it all together for a photo.

An old wooden doll trunk filled with 2 little bears.........a wee quilt I worked on all of last year..........winter time holiday pin cushions were so much fun to stitch.
